These two monster rock bands will embark on the 22-city “Progressive U.S. Tour” starting July 4th and concluding August 3rd in Mountain View, CA. Stella Parton with Mike Arnold and James Downing
As part of the CMA Week coverage, Mike Arnold and James Downing had the priviledge to have a conversation with the “Legendary Maverick”, Stella Parton.
This interview was conducted at the Parlor Studio on 16th Avenue (Music Row area) in Nashville, TN (although they met in the studio, the interview was conducted using the Concert Blast equipment). There is lots of humour and a few serious moments in this interview as Stella describes her new book, “Tell It Sister, Tell It” and the CD (with the same name) that has songs which go hand in hand with the book.

On Friday, June 3rd, Willie Nelson’s Country Throwdown Tour traveled across the East Coast of America and made a stop in Nashville, TN to thrill Southern Rock/Country Music concert fans.

Eddie Money in Concert - Nashville, TN
Eddie Money returned to Nashville, TN on Friday May 13th 2011 for another performance at the World Famous Wildhorse Saloon. The guys from Concert Blast were more than excited about this show not only because of Eddie Money, but his opening act is one of our favorite live bands, The Stacie Collins Band. Alter Bridge In Concert - Nashville, TN 5-11-2011
It was a Wednesday May 11th, 2011 in Nashville, TN and the Cannery Ballroom had a Sold-Out crowd ready to be a part of the Alter Bridge experience. Alter Bridge brought out the excitement in this crowd as fists were pumping in the air and voices were singing along to nearly every song performed that night. The opener for the night, Like-A-Storm, warmed up this energetic crowd and then gave us an interview. Concert Blast had Mike Arnold, Tom Thompson, James Downing, and special guest host, Ryan Stapleton on hand to provide this audio podcast.

Like A Storm with Concert Blast
The publicist for Like-A-Storm (Lena Wilson) contacted Concert Blast for us to cover their Nashville, TN opening slot for Alter Bridge. We usually don’t cover up and coming bands, but after researching these guys, we discovered they had a great story of how they moved to Canada from New Zealand and in a few short years recorded an album and found themselves opening for Creed on a U.S. tour. So we had to cover these guys! Mike Arnold, Tom Thompson, James Downing, and special guest host Ryan Stapleton (a huge Alter Bridge fan and who also lived in New Zealand for a year) covered the night. Stryper In Concert - Michael Sweet
