One of the thrills of the CMA Music Festival are the various non-music events that take place during the festival. The daytime festivities not only allow you to get up close and personal with the country music stars, but with all types of celebrities. This video webisode is a short fun interview with Mike Wolfe of American Pickers from the History Channel. Mike Arnold and Tom Thompson led a light-hearted discussion with Mike Wolfe on barbecue, the upcoming season six of American Pickers, and how Mike met his co-stars Frank Fritz and Danielle Colby-Cushman. Doug (Cosmo) Clifford and Stu Cook of Creedence Clearwater Revival (and Revisited) - In Concert - Nashville, TN
It was Sunday night June 19th 2011, a Father’s Day celebration in Nashville, TN, as classic rock landed at the Wildhorse Saloon once again. Creedence Clearwater Revisted made a Sold-Out return appearance to the Music City. Mike Arnold, Brian Hasbrook, and Tom Thompson made room in their Father’s Day schedule to attend this rockin’ event. Mike and Brian arrived early during the soundcheck for a scheduled interview with original Creedence Clearwater Revival members, bassist Stu Cook and drummer Doug (Cosmo) Clifford. Then the fun continued with the CCR fans in attendance and of course the excellent concert… Which means another Concert Blast podcast!

Alicia Dean Gives Audio Tour of Graceland
When Mike Arnold and Brian Hasbrook of Concert Blast traveled to Memphis, TN to cover the Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival, they were also invited for an escorted personal tour of the home of Elvis Presley. Brian Hasbrook and Mike Arnold received a personal escorted tour from Alicia Dean from the PR department of Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc.

Stella Parton with Mike Arnold and James Downing
As part of the CMA Week coverage, Mike Arnold and James Downing had the priviledge to have a conversation with the “Legendary Maverick”, Stella Parton.
This interview was conducted at the Parlor Studio on 16th Avenue (Music Row area) in Nashville, TN (although they met in the studio, the interview was conducted using the Concert Blast equipment). There is lots of humour and a few serious moments in this interview as Stella describes her new book, “Tell It Sister, Tell It” and the CD (with the same name) that has songs which go hand in hand with the book.

Rick Springfield With Tom Thompson and Mike Arnold of Concert Blast
Rick Springfield came to perform two nights at the World’s Famous Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, TN. On Rick’s first night, Friday February 15th, Mike and Tom met with Rick Springfield backstage for a short interview.
Rick was super nice and answered all the questions without hesitation. He discussed the various places he lived, his youth, his acting, his family, his upcoming CD, and many other things. Listen as Mike, Tom, and Rick discuss the life of Bruce… I mean Rick Springfield.
