Concert Blast was sent an email to cover this show on the morning of the concert. Billy Joel’s staff provided two excellent seats to the concert as well as a photo pass. As the guys from Concert Blast reflect back on the coverage performed in 2013, we thought it would be better to show you with hundreds of photographs taken throughout the year in a video segment. The year’s photo coverage began with an interview with singer/songwriter/actress Jewel from our guest blogger/photographer friend Samantha Shrader and ended with Mike Arnold‘s visit to the annual Christmas 4 Kids benefit touring of tour buses. This year also included the Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival, the CMA Music Festival, and the K-Love Fan Awards,  along with numerous concerts, interviews, and CD reviews throughout the year. Enjoy this video of the Concert Blast 2013 Flashback and Happy New Year from Mike Arnold, Brian Hasbrook, and Tom Thompson!

This Webisode continues with the Memphis In May Beale Street Music Festival coverage as we begin our final day of this fun festival.  The day began with Mike Arnold and Tom Thompson attending a church service at Highpoint Church.  Then the coverage picks up as we leave the hotel and arrive at Tom Lee Park to grab a bite to eat (thanks to our sponsor, The Best Around Concessions) before catching the media golf cart ride to the stage in the middle of the park, watching Brian head to the Photo Pit, and showing clips of the Vintage Trouble Concert before interviewing them.  Enjoy our 8th Concert Blast Webisode!

It’s that time of the year again where we celebrate getting together with friends and family, eat lots of great food, wind down the year, but most importantly celebrate the birth of Jesus as The Christ. This podcast is reflecting on Christmas songs by rock artists submitted by Concert Blast listeners and some of our own favorites. Actually this podcast is a spliced and diced podcast from several past Christmas specials from 2005-2007. Listen to this audio podcast while Mike Arnold, Brian Hasbrook, and Tom Thompson take you through several Christmas song clips… ENJOY!

You may see this post and ask yourself, “What in the world is this?” Actually Christmas 4 Kids Bus Tour is a way for fans to see the tour buses that musicians live on while on tour.  Not only does the fan get to walk into the living quarters of the artists, but the artists are also on the buses ready to meet and greet the fans, sign autographs, and take photos with them.  Every year this event takes place to raise money for under privileged children in the Nashville TN area.  Each selected child will receive $150 to spend at the Hendersonville, TN Walmart (where the buses were parked).  This is a great way to raise money so these children may enjoy Christmas and for fans to meet many music artists.  Enjoy the photos taken by Mike Arnold.
