Here in the United States of America we just had another election and this time it was to elect the Chief Executive, also known as The President of the United Sates of America. During this election President Obama was re-elected to be the chief of the free world again, but to get there he had some help from some of the top artists in the music industry.

CMA Music Fest 2012 - Miranda Lambert
Thursday Night June 7th 2012 was the opening night of the CMA Music Fest stadium concerts. The original Concert Blast team of Mike Arnold, Brian Hasbrook, and Tom Thompson were on hand for the coverage. We love covering music festivals and the CMA Music Fest is one of the best. It’s the time of the year when Concert Blast covers the CMA Music Festival held in Nashville, TN during the second week of June. This is the photo coverage of the first of four nights of the stadium concerts. Concert Blast photographer Brian Hasbrook took photos throughout the night and here is his work from the concerts that took place on Thursday, June 7th 2012. While the concert-touring season has slowed down for the winter, I thought it would be nice to show our listening audiences what we went through in 2010. I created multiple videos of our experiences with a month by month journey of our adventures.

It was a Rowdy Friday night in Nashville, TN at the Bridgestone Arena. Hank Williams Jr. led the charge as Jamey Johnson, Eric Church, and The Grascals followed. The crowd at the arena was full of energy and ready for fun.
The Grascals
The Grascals performed a free concert outside on the plaza for the attendees before the doors opened. The Grascals were well received on the outside as well as on the inside of the arena as they opened the show. After their set they took time to have a short conversation with Mike Arnold and Brian Hasbrook who were there covering the show. Mike and Brian missed Eric Church’s performance due to the backstage visit, but they had such a good time it was worth it.
Jamey Johnson
Jamey Johnson had the crowd on their feet throughout the entire set and when Hank Jr took the stage, the crowd turned it up another notch as Bocephus rallied his troops throughout the evening with his hits, sing-alongs and many musical surprises.
