Welcome to our first post of 2015. We took off in January, but the posts are now returning as we are gear up for the concert and music festival season. For 2015 starters we are excited to learn that Slaughter‘s front man and Concert Blast friend, Mark Slaughter, is back with new music. His solo album, “Reflections in a Rear View Mirror“, is available now for down load. From Mark’s website he posted, “These tracks represent the last year of creative expression for me. When I started this journey, I had no idea of where it would take me. Now that I’m here, I hope that you love the songs as much as I loved making them for you!“ Continue to read the official Press Release.

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers In Concert - Nashville, TN 9/23/2014
It was Tuesday September 23rd in Nashville, TN while thousands of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers fans were very excited to see one of the best singer/songwriters in the Classic Rock Music genre… and one of the very few rockers from that era that still releases (and sells) new music today. Concert Blast was invited to the Nashville party with photo credentials so our friend Samantha Shrader stepped up to help us out once again to take the concert photos of Tom Petty and his Heartbreakers, since Brian Hasbrook was out of town. Thank You Sam! Enjoy her photos…
Journey (Arnel Pineda) In Concert - Nashville, TN 9/12/2014
Journey returned their rock show to Nashville, TN to thrill about 14,000 rock music fans at the Bridgestone Arena on September 12th, 2014 and Concert Blast was invited to cover the party. Nashville, TN seems to always be included on a Journey tour anytime they head to the eastern side of the country. After seeing them perform here several times, I understand the reason … lots of Journey fans! If that is not reason enough, then maybe because keyboardist/guitarist Jonathan Cain also lives in this Music City. Enjoy the Journey concert review with very special guests Joan Jett and the Blackhearts written by Mike Arnold.

Riverfront Park - 2014 CMA Music Festival
It was officially day three of the 2014 CMA Music Festival in Nashville, TN. Mike Arnold, Tom Thompson, and Will Perry continued with the concert coverage. Day three lasted about 15 hours and this was after two prior long days! Yes, we were tired but excited to cover more concerts. On this day we started at the packed Riverfront Park to cover LoCash Cowboys, went to the Bridgestone Arena plaza for Chuck Wicks, strolled over to the HGTV sponsored barn to see an invitation only solo performance of Sugarland’s Kristian Bush, and then completed the daytime shows back at Riverfront Park to see one of our favorite up and coming artists, Maggie Rose. After a dinner and a hour rain delay, we headed over to the stadium to catch Sara Evans, Little Big Town, Darius Rucker, Florida Georgia Line, and closed the night with Keith Urban. Enjoy the podcast and written blog review by Mike Arnold.
