CMA Music Festival - Riverfront Park Crowd for Sawyer Brown
Every year since 2007, Concert Blast has made a trip to the CMA Music Festival held in Nashville, TN during the second week of June. We always try to cover every night of the stadium concerts, but we always try to cover some of the special events. Concert Blast photographer Brian Hasbrook took photos throughout the week and here is his work of some of the special events we attended. An interview with three stars from the History Channel’s TV hit show Swamp People (Troy, Jacob, and Chase Landry), Photos of Little Big Town (and fans), Kellie Pickler, and Sawyer Brown’s concert at Riverfront Park. Steve Winwood with Michael Franti & Spearhead Concert Fans
On Friday May 18th, Steve Winwood and his opening act Michael Franti & Spearhead performed a benefit concert for Radner Lake in Nashville, TN. The Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel was extremely packed. If the show wasn’t completely Sold-Out, it was very close. In fact the general admission area in the back sold-out days before the concert and there were only a few reserved seats available. Concert Blast returned to Memphis, TN to cover the Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival once again. This time the team consisted of Mike Arnold, Tom Thompson, and our stand in photographer and helper, Steve Shattuck.
Friday’s festivities included performances from Vol Beat, NeedToBreathe, Florence & the Machine, Megadeth, Evanescence, and Johnny Winter. Not only does this podcast include the performance clips and our commentary of the performances, but Mike also enjoyed talking with some of the fans in attendance. Enjoy the blog and podcast review!

Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival - Friday May 4 2012

Every year Concert Blast is invited to cover the Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival and every year the guys look forward to attending the annual event. This year was the year that Concert Blast didn’t have their professional photographer Brian Hasbrook with them. Brian had a previous engagement so Mike and Tom borrowed a camera and brought along Steve Shattuck to help them with the photography duties.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. You either love it for the recognition it gives to the greatest of the genre, or hate it because of all the arguably deserving artists who have been left behind. Me? As a music lover, it’s hard for me not to be sucked into the scene. This was my 3rd year attending the ceremony, and in my opinion, was perhaps one of the best celebrations yet.

George Thorogood and the Destoyers In Concert - Nashville, TN - Wildhorse Saloon - 3-20-2012
On Tuesday, March 20th 2012, the Wildhorse Saloon came alive as George Thorogood and the Destoyers perfomed to a Sold-Out crowd at the Nashville, TN venue. Long-time Concert Blast friend Michael Fulghum substituted for James Downing and Brian Hasbrook to perform the photography duties. Check out the concert photos.

Taylor Swift - CMA Music Fest 2011
It was the fourth and final night of the CMA Music Festival 2011, the Sunday Night Stadium Concerts with a lineup of several of the biggest names in today’s Country Music.
