Drum Beat Intros – Music Discussion (PODCAST 165)

PODCAST AUDIO LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST

Here is a popular podcast from 2006 re-edited.  Mike Arnold, Brian Hasbrook, and Tom Thompson created this Music Discussion podcast of songs that begin with a Drum Beat.  We begin the show by taking turns naming songs from various artists, reading emails from our listeners, and then played a game of “Name That Tune” by the Drum Beat Intro.

Some of the Artists named are; Alice Cooper, Steve Miller Band, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, Bob Seger, Rolling Stones, Queen, J Geils Band, Billy Squire, Grand Funk Railroad, Judas Priest, Cheap Trick, KISS, Loverboy, Joan Jett, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, Phil Collins, Eagles, Guns and Roses, Van Halen, Billy Idol, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pat Benetar, B52s, Bruce Springsteen, INXS, Roy Orbison, U2, and Huey Lewis & the News

Enjoy!

Ryan Roxie of Alice Cooper Interview – from 2005 (PODCAST)

Here is an Interview from Ryan Roxie, formerly the guitarist for Alice Cooper.  Ryan met with Concert Blast before a concert backstage at Chastain Park in Atlanta, GA.  Alice Cooper had Cheap Trick on tour with him. Ryan is a huge Cheap Trick fan and was super thrilled to have them on the tour.  Ryan also had his bandmate and friend, drummer Eric Singer (also the drummer for KISS) to join us for a quick hello.  Ryan is a very funny and friendly guy who appreciates where he ended up.  Ryan discussed touring with Alice Cooper, writing with Alice Cooper, his other project Roxie 77, his family, and many other topics.  Click the link and enjoy this podcast from 2005.
