The Swine Ball serves as the official kick-off event for the not-for-profit Music City Festival and BBQ Championship to be held August 24-25 in Riverfront Park with The Fabulous Thunderbirds (August 24th) and Grand Funk Railroad (August 25th). This year, the event will celebrate its 30th year as a Nashville tradition. Michelle Arnold was on hand for the Swine Ball 2012 photos… ENJOY!

On Friday morning, August 10th, 2012, Concert Blast was invited to a press conference with Dolly Parton as she was presented the Gold award from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for the two disc set, “An Evening With… Dolly“, available at the Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores. Special Thanks to the public relations and marketing company, Webster and Associates LLC, for the invitation and to Michelle Arnold for stepping in to help our team cover this event. Although there was a Question and Answer section of the press conference, the media’s questions were not recorded loud enough, therefore they were edited out and you will only hear Dolly Parton talking.
